Law and Ethics in the field of Human-Computer Interaction

On 12 December 2016, JUDr. Veronika Křížová, LL.M. gave a lecture at the Electrical Engineering Faculty of the Czech Technical University on the topic Law and Ethics in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). HCI is an interdisciplinary branch, dealing with factors influencing the quality and effectiveness of user´s interaction with computer systems. 

Research projects of the faculty in this branch deal e.g. with implementation of the system for navigation of vision-impaired persons in buildings and outdoors using a mobile phone or development of special technologies of analysis of an audio signal and bio signals controlling emulators of classical devices.

Veronika Křížová focused on the issue of personal data protection and personality protection including physical and mental integrity at the research targeted on specific user groups such as elderly people or vision-impaired or otherwise disabled persons.
